Began in 1990 as a home-based business selling soft-serve ice cream & supplies, now having grown to occupying a 33,000 square foot warehouse with more than 40 employees, having expand their product line to offer produce, natural foods, beverages, kosher foods and Mid-Atlantic-sourced meats and seafood.
The key to their company’s growth is sound management, creativity and a commitment to “deliver the good stuff”. During the pandemic they turned to the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and COVID Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL), on pace to exceed pre-pandemic sales by 46%, with a sales goal of $35 million dollars by 2024.
Lois has served on the Boards of the Women’s Presidents Organization and Women’s Business Collaborative, and have work closely with The Food Project, Howard County Public Schools, Global Food Fund.
