  • Graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and a week later joined the US Navy
  • Received numerous honors, including: the National Defense Service Medal, the Coast Guard Special Operations Service Medal and the Kuwait Liberation 
  • Spend several years working in for major corporations before being downsized
